Thomas P. Routh — Partner

Thomas P. Routh joined Nolan Law Group in 1991, as a litigation paralegal. After completing law school in 1996, he returned to the firm as an associate attorney and he is currently a partner. Tom is a graduate of Michigan State University and DePaul University College of Law. While at DePaul, in addition to working full-time as a law clerk at Nolan Law Group, Tom was a member of the DePaul Law Review and the DePaul National Moot Court Society. Since graduation, Tom has practiced exclusively in the area of personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Tom concentrates in litigation cases involving aviation disasters and matters involving catastrophic injuries resulting from product liability, construction, transportation and medical negligence. Tom's litigation experience includes trying numerous cases to multi-million dollar verdicts and negotiating numerous settlements in excess of one million dollars. Through Nolan Law Group, Tom is actively involved with the Brain Injury Association of Illinois and the Brain Injury Association of America. Tom has successfully represented numerous brain injury survivors and has obtained multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in cases involving mild, moderate and severe closed-head injuries. Tom is an active member of several bar associations and volunteers in his off-work hours with the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Chicago Legal Assistance And Resource Center, Miseracordia Heart Of Mercy and St. Ignatius Parish in Rogers Park. Tom is also actively involved in various local and national organizations attempting to raise public awareness of the dangers of sun exposure and melanoma.
